Registration for WMAA summer and fall sport activities is now underway. We are offering the following:
SUMMER - Speed and Agility clinic. This is WMAA's second year in offering this clinic, which was a great success last year. The clinic is designed for kids aged 9-13 and is focused on helping them unlock their full potential on the field or court. It is led by experienced coaches and designed to enhance speed, agility, and overall athletic performance in a fun and supportive environment. Sessions will be held on Tuesday and Thursdays at Doub's Park from 5:30 to 6:30/6:45. Sessions will run from June 18 to July 25 with just a $10 registration fee! Sessions are casual and attendance at every session is not required. Come and join us for some exercise and fun this summer! Please register as soon as possible as sessions will begin next week.
FALL - INTRAMURAL SOCCER is recreational and offered for two age brackets: PreK/K and 1st - 3rd grade. Sessions are held for an hour each Saturday at Doub's Park. The registration fees are just $55. This program is highly popular each season.
FALL - TRAVEL SOCCER. Two co-ed teams are available for registration: U10 and U12 (under the age of 10 and 12, respectively, by September 1). Practices are held during the week and games are held across Frederick County on the weekend. Registration is just $75.
FALL - FLAG FOOTBALL is a recreational, co-ed program available for registration in two age brackets: 1st-3rd grade and 4th-5th grade. The program emphasizes fundamentals, sportsmanship and age-appropriate skill development for flag football. Our goal is to find kids who may not be ready to commit to tackle football but still want to learn the game. This program has also been successful with WMAA in prior seasons. Registration fees are just $55.
More information can be found on all programs on our website, www.wmaasports.org under the Programs tab.
