WMAA Basketball Registration is open!

Registration for our popular basketball program opened this morning. Consistent with prior years, our recreational in-house division is available for K/1st grade, 2nd/3rd grade, and 4th/5th grade coed teams. Registration is $75. A wait list will be implemented, so please register early to avoid missing out! We have historically had to turn folks away because our teams have reached capacity. Practices occur once a week at Myersville Elementary and games are held at Wolfsville Elementary every Saturday morning. Practices start in December and games begin the first week of January.

Based on the results of a survey recently distributed by the basketball coordinator, we will also be offering the opportunity for a boys‘ travel team for 3rd/4th grade. Based on the survey results, that was the only team where it felt viable to field a team for this season. ReRegistration is $150. Practices will be held twice a week at either Myersville or Wolfsville Elementary. Home games will be held at Wolfsville Elementary; away games will be held across Frederick County.

For the travel program, we are implementing a registration deadline of October 10 so please register as quickly as possible for that travel team!
