WMAA ANNUAL MEETING NOTIFICATION:
WMAA will hold its annual meeting on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 7:00 pm via zoom. All parents are welcome and encouraged to join!
At the annual meeting, the agenda will include:
- Review of last year's Annual meeting minutes;
- Election of new Board member - (Michelle Buhrman);
- Review and approval of any recommended changes to the current bylaws. This document can be found in the Information | WMAA Bylaws tab on our website at www.wmaasports.org. Any recommended changes will be discussed and voted on at the annual meeting
- Presentation of 2025 Draft Budget
NOTE: Elections are not needed for Officers or Directors this year (with the exception of Michelle above). WMAA bylaws elect Officers and Directors for four-year terms and elections were last held in 2024.
Please consider getting involved! We are adding a field hockey program this season and have recently added flag football and summer sports clinics to our offerings despite minimal Board membership. We need parental involvement to continue to effectively run the organization. WMAA is seeking volunteers to serve as Coordinator for our popular intramural soccer program and to partner with Mike Holda on the flag football program for the fall season. Due to conflicts, Mike can only direct the spring season and needs a partner to manage the program in the fall season.
