WMAA ANNUAL BOARD MEETING - FEBRUARY 23, 2023, 7:00 pm
WMAA will be holding its annual meeting on February 9, 2023, at 7:00 pm via Zoom. Invite information will be distributed the week of the meeting.
There will be no elections held at this time. Officers and Directors will continue their current term. However, the Board is in dire need of a Treasurer. If you, or anyone you know, is interested, please reply to this email or to [email protected]. Please go to www.wmaasports.org/Information/WMAABylaws to review our current operating charter.
WMAA can only operate effectively with active participation from its membership. We have recently expanded our sports offerings to include flag football and are working diligently to rejuvenate our travel soccer program. We would also like to offer adult programs and a skills clinic, and are considering the potential to implement a travel basketball program at the 4th/5th grade level.
WMAA currently operates with 3 officers and a handful of active Board members. The vast majority of the active Board members do not even have kids active in any of the programs; they continue to serve to keep the programs and the organization running but that will not continue indefinitely. We NEED YOUR INVOLVEMENT! Please consider getting involved as a Board member, Officer, coach, intramural or travel coordinator! It is for the benefit of YOUR kids.
