Middletown High School will be celebrating Youth Appreciation at its next varsity home game on Tuesday, September 21, at 6:00 pm.
All local youth attending with an adult are admitted free when wearing a team jersey/shirt. Please plan to come out to support the team and to celebrate our youth!
The varsity team is also supporting Middletown Valley People Helping People by accepting food donations in support of the Backpack Program and the Food Bank. The backpack program partners with local churches to provide weekend food for school children. Items can be dropped off on Tuesday evening and include: Canned pastas (i.e. Chef Boyardee), canned tuna, juice boxes, Ramen noodles, macaroni and cheese, instant oatmeal, and granola bars. The Food Bank is in need of: canned vegetables (no corn or green beans), crackers, small cans of regular coffee, olive oil, brown sugar, pancake mix and syrup, toothpaste, and shampoo).
Youth Appreciation Night is a lot of fun for the kids, and many of the high school players got their start through WMAA. Come out and join the fun and support our local high school and community!
